Meet Brooklyn: Our New Club Lead at Johnston Street!

We're excited to introduce Brooklyn, the new Club Lead at our Johnston Street gym!

Brooklyn brings plenty of energy, a passion for helping others, and is looking forward to getting to know all of our members. If you see her around the club, be sure to stop by and say hello!

To help everyone get to know her a little better, we asked Brooklyn a few quick questions...

1. What inspired you to work in the fitness industry? 
I was inspired to work in the fitness industry because of my personal experiences with physical activity growing up. The positive impacts I have had from physical activity on all aspects of my wellbeing were something I was always so passionate about. The older I got, the more I had such a drive to help people feel and see the importance of physical activity, the way that I always have.

2. What's your favourite way to stay active or train? 
 My favourite way to stay active is by keeping things exciting. I love variety, so my week can consist of a mix of things - walks, HIIT training, strength training, netball or runs.  

3. What's one thing members might be surprised to learn about you? 
I was born and raised in Nelson

4. What are you most excited about in your new role at Johnston Street? 
 I am most excited to meet all of the awesome members at Johnston Street and understand what you’re all about.

5. If you could give every member one piece of health or fitness advice, what would it be? 
My health and fitness advice is to find what works for you! If you can enjoy what you do, the consistency and results will come naturally.
