Introducing our newest team members

Rebecca Davidson – Fitness Lead (Platinum)

We’re excited to welcome Rebecca as our new Fitness Lead at Platinum! With a background in dance, gymnastics, psychology, rehab coaching, and personal training, Rebecca brings a huge amount of knowledge — and heart — to the role. She’s passionate about helping people move better, feel stronger, and feel supported within our Platinum community.

A bit about Rebecca:

Rebecca grew up as a dancer and gymnast, which also meant navigating her fair share of injuries. This sparked an early interest in physio and rehab, and a desire to help athletes recover and perform better.

She originally set out to become a sports psychologist and completed her psychology degree through Massey Distance while coaching and teaching dance in Nelson. Alongside this, she worked full-time at Habit Health as a Rehab Coach and completed her diploma-level personal training qualification. All of these experiences shape the way she coaches today.

What excites her most about leading Platinum?

Being a people person, Rebecca loves working with — and contributing to — the incredible community that already exists at Platinum.

Maria – Personal Trainer

We’re also excited to introduce Maria, the newest member of our Personal Training team!

Maria has been immersed in health and fitness from a young age, building a strong foundation in movement, strength training, and overall wellbeing. She brings great energy, strong knowledge, and a genuine passion for helping members feel confident and strong in their training.
